Reverse Legend: “Quality Inn” above farthing, “Lucky Farthing” below in between stars Obverse Legend: “Quality Inn” above farthing, “Lucky Farthing” below in between stars.
The 1937 variety #1 has two “6-pointed stars” as stops
in the legend, whereas The 1938 variety #2 uses two
“5-pointed stars” as stops before the word “QUALITY”
and after the word “INN”.
Likewise, the fonts used for the lettering differ –
especially notable in the “Q” of QUALITY and the
“G” of FARTHING
